New Ballistics Program for I-Pod Touch and I-Phones

Knights Armament has developed a sophisticated yet easy-to-use ballistics program that runs on the Apple I-Pod Touch and Apple I-Phone platforms. The KAC Bullet Flight 2.0.0 software contains all the features you would want, including: user-selectable BC models (G1, G7, G8 etc.); output in inches, cm, MOA, Mils, and scope clicks; 360° wind drift calculation; computation of actual BC from collected data; and built-in accelerometer for angle detection.

In addition, KAC Bullet Flight 2.0.0 comes with a large database of bullet types (including weights, BCs etc.). You can also create your own custom ammo profiles (with velocity, BC, bullet type), allowing you to easily output ballistic plots for multiple firearms, without having to enter the rifle/bullet profile every time.

KAC Bullet Flight 2.0.0 is a very sophisticated program that rivals anything you can run on your home computer. A version of Bullet Flight is already in use with the U.S. Military in Iraq and Afghanistan. There are three versions of KAC Bullet Flight, all very affordable. The basic L1 version costs just $3.99. We recommend the L2 version ($11.99) which adds a full calculation screen, the ability to generate a range-card, cosine-angle calculation, and GPS functionality. Finally, the $24.99 Level ‘M’ (Military) version further adds the ability to calculate an actual BC based on bullet drop, two velocities, or flight time. With Level ‘M’ you can also correct for very subtle factors, such as the Coriolis Effects, which come into play at ultra-long ranges.

It’s time for the NRA National Matches, which means that hundreds of Service Rifle shooters will be converging on Camp Perry, Ohio. John built the upper for the Smith & Wesson M&P AR with which Carl Bernosky won the Camp Perry High Power Championship in 2007. This marked the first time an AR-style semi-auto has won that event. Primer Availability Report — Wolf Primers Have Arrived

Bruno Shooters Supply reports it has large supplies of Wolf Primers with no limits on quantities. Small Rifle, Small Rifle (223), Small Rifle Magnum (recommended for BR and 6-6.5×47), Large Rifle, and Large Rifle Magnum are all offered for $26.95 per thousand primers exclusive of the hazmat fee and shipping charges. Amy Bruno notes that these can only ship via FedEx Ground and that a signature WILL BE REQUIRED.

Powder Valley Inc. has Wolf primers in stock, including the desirable Small Rifle Magnum (one thousand, 1000-ct boxes in stock as of today, at $25.50/1000 plus hazmat and shipping). Also Large Rifle, Large Rifle Magnum, and Large Pistol are in stock.
