Fantastic read and debunks so many ballistic "isms" that have have permeated the many forums and discussions surrounding the practical application of ballistics to technical shooting strategies. Money well spent!

An excellent resource and a very solid read. This book is worth much more than the asking price.

I have read the book and fully recommend it to anyone pursuing competitive rifle shooting of any discipline. Bryan's work is now the go to source for answers to shooter's ballistics questions. Its the best $40 I have ever spent.

I have not read Brian's book yet (but I have sent in an order) so I can't comment on there being similar work on .22lr ballistics, but Robert L. McCoy of the Army BRL published a report on flight characteristics of .22lr match projectiles in 1990.

You can get if for free at http://www.dtic.mil

Just search for AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF
CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE MATCH AMMUNITION.

This could be the 21st Century Hatcher's Notebook. An excellent reference book for the shooter.

Has anyone done a similar level of analysis for .22 LR bullets? I think benchrest and target shooters (like me) would find this helpful.
